IIT Kanpur has released the syllabus for JEE Advanced 2025, with no changes from previous years. The syllabus covers Physics, Chemistry, and Maths.
IIT Goa has started the admission process for the academic year 2024-25. JEE Main 2024 session 2 registration has begun. It will end on March 2, 2024. JEE Main 2024 session 2 is scheduled for April 4 - April 15, 2024. On the other hand, online registration for JEE Advanced 2024 will start on April 21, 2024. IIT Goa offers a specialized placement department to help with the placement process, which includes internships and final placements. The placement cell is made up of several persons that are responsible for different aspects of the placement process. The placement team consists of numerous directors, faculty members, and student coordinators from various departments.
The placement cell is in charge of all actions that are required to run a flawless placement session. This includes inviting recruiters, holding student training sessions, planning the itinerary, and coordinating the event. This team ensures that the IIT Goa placement process runs properly.
Top firms from across the country have shown a strong interest in the IIT Goa placement development program. The first techno-culture event, cultural, was launched at the start of this year to allow students to demonstrate their talents. In the coming year, the university will host a number of workshops to help students improve their abilities in preparation for future employment opportunities.
The placement rate at the IIT Goa for the academic year 2020-21 was 87%. The IIT Goa Placement program attracted a total of 121 companies. 90% of B.Tech students and 76.5% of M.Tech students were placed out of the total number of students that applied for placements. In the placement drive, the highest CTC offered was INR 43 LPA, which is higher than the previous year's highest CTC. Previously, the highest CTC was INR 30 LPA. However, the average package has decreased to INR 8 LPA from INR 18 LPA in 2019. Microsoft, Intel, KPMG, and L&T were among the major recruiters who came to the IIT Goa for campus placements and internship hiring.
For the academic year 2021-22, the IIT Goa is holding a placement drive. According to the most recent statistics, B.Tech and M.Tech programs have a 95% placement rate.

IIT Goa B.Tech Cut off 2023: JoSAA released the IIT Goa B.Tech cut off 2023 on the official website. The cutoff ranks will be used for B.Tech admissions in 2023. Students who meet the published IIT Goa 2023 cut off marks will get the desired B.Tech course at the institute. For B.Tech admissions the IIT Goa cutoff is based on the JEE Advanced 2023 scores obtained by the candidates.

B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (Engineering)In 2021, the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) ranked IIT Goa 85th in Engineering.
IIT Goa is currently operating out of the Goa Engineering College in Farmagudi, which serves as a temporary campus. The current IIT Goa campus is well-equipped with all modern amenities, including lecture rooms, large classrooms, a library, canteen, and hostels. IIT Goa library is entirely air-conditioned and provides a peaceful environment for serious study. In addition, the college includes an air-conditioned computer lab with LAN and Internet access. You'll also find audio and video learning tools in the computer lab. The Institute also provides a plethora of other amenities to students, such as auditoriums, labs, gymnasiums, ATMs, medical facilities, and so on, for their betterment.
IIT Goa now provides students with hostel accommodations. IIT Goa hostels have a capacity of 90 students. The IIT campus also has a dining hall, internet access, and recreational facilities. In addition, there is a shared TV room and a sports field for sports fans. Students also have access to a daily needs store, banks, and ATMs on campus. IIT Goa hosts an annual fest that includes a variety of events like dance, drama, music, stand-up comedy, and more to motivate students. All SC/ST students are not required to pay tuition. To qualifying SC/ST students, free messes (only basic menu) and a pocket allowance are provided. These students may also be free from paying hostel room rent if they meet the following criteria.
The parental income is used to determine the Scholarship's means requirement.
Income Proof shall be provided in the form of an Income Certificate issued by a Revenue Officer, not below the rank of Tehsildar or an Income Tax Return (ITR for the Financial Year 2017-18, Assessment Year 2018-19).
A student who receives such benefits is ineligible to receive any other scholarship from the government, semi-government, or private sector.
Remission of Fees:
Students who are economically disadvantaged are eligible for tuition fee remission in the following ways.
Those with a family income of less than INR 1 lakh per annum will have their tuition costs waived completely.
Those whose household income is between INR 1 lakh and INR 5 lakh per year will have 2/3rds of their tuition expenses waived.
Central Sector Scholarship Scheme of Top Class Education for SC Students:
The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, awards a total of 12 scholarships to Engineering and Technology students and 10 to Management students.

The family's total annual income from all sources should not exceed INR 4.5 lakhs. As proof of income, an attestation copy of an income certificate issued by the Revenue Office (not below the rank of Tehsildar) or an ITR (Income Tax Return: Financial Year 2019-20) (Assessment Year: 2020-21) is required.
B.Tech, M.Tech, and PhD are the three programs offered by the Institute. B.Tech and M.Tech are offered in the field of engineering, and they are organized into semesters. IIT Goa features a number of student-run clubs, such as the Hobby Club and the Web Development Club. Economics Club is a group of people who study economics. In addition, dance, Debate, Photography, and more clubs are available. These student clubs arrange various club activities throughout the year to keep students occupied in their spare time and foster a dynamic campus life.
Students at the Indian Institute of Technology in Goa have access to a variety of clubs in which they can engage in and lead various events. Within the university, there are approximately 11 clubs. Dear Raza, IIT Goa offers interest-free loans to its students who are admitted on a full-time basis and whose family income is less than Rs 8 lakhs per annum. The loan amount is Rs 1 lakh per annum for the B.Tech course, Rs 1.5 lakh per annum for the M.Tech course, and Rs 2 lakh per annum for the PhD course. The loan is repayable in 5 years after the student completes the course in 60 equal monthly instalments.
